Unified Aviation was contracted to lead a team to design and implement a process to manage all aviation activations at Expo 2020 in Dubai, including but not limited to drone filming, drone shows, airshows, balloons, laser and light show, and fireworks. Tasked with ensuring safety and efficiency for all aerial operations during the high-profile event, Unified Aviation faced the challenge of managing this complex system in a bustling environment.
This involved integrating a bespoke UTM and airspace booking system, within the prohibited airspace over Expo 2020, compatible with local CAA technology to manage all aerial activities.
Our Project Objectives
Primary Goal: The primary goal was to establish a safe and efficient airspace management system suitable for diverse aerial operations. This system was designed to handle various activities, including drones, fireworks, airshows, and other aerial operations, ensuring smooth and safe execution during the event.
